I have him on a 1956 Tigers card. Played from only 1955 to 1958. Went 4 - 3 his rookie year in 1955 and that's what he ended up for his career. Must have bounced around a lot after 1958 trying to make it back to the majors. He was a good hitting pitcher batting .259 and slugging .556 with 2 homers in 27 career ABs.
Played for the Mets Triple A affiliate in Buffalo from 1963 to 1965 and he's also from Buffalo.
Too bad the Mets didn't call him up in the early 60's. Maybe he could have helped--he couldn't have hurt!
