I want to let the Mets know that Scott Cichon passed away on October 30, 2024 in East Hampton CT. He was a friend of my sister and they knew each other through the Elks Club. I did not want his passing to be forgotten as he so proudly spoke of his time with the Mets. I know that 1970 wa a long time ago but there may be some of you who remember Scott. His catcher was at the wake and he told us that he didn't want to catch for Scott because "he threw too damn hard and fast"!
